"CavanNet completes €300,000 deal."

CavanNet Computers has completed the first phase of an ongoing contract to supply computer equipment valued at supply P. Elliott & Company a wide array of Fujitsu Siemens products, including €300,000 to construction company P Elliott.

As part of the deal, agreed in March 2005, it has supplied four Fujitsu Siemens servers, over 100 desktop PCs and 170 laptops for use in four P Elliott offices in Dublin, Cavan, Tipperary and Belfast and 45 construction sites around the country.

"With the new hardware, we have put in a new back-end solution, which has integrated all our deliveries and requisitions, right through from accounts up to management level," said Jim Kelly, IT manager of P Elliott. "On-site staff are expected to log deliveries as they come onto the site, which has allowed us to save substantial time and money as well as reduce the pressure on the people in accounts".
